Football
Football is the main game during the Lent term , and the 15 School teams make good use of the 11 quality pitches. Each year group will put out 3 teams on a weekly basis and there are 4 senior sides. There is pre-season training for the 1st team squad early in the New Year and all teams will train 4 times a week. If pitches are unfit we look to make good use of astroturfs in both Wallingford and Reading.
Our fixture list is very strong and includes the likes of Charterhouse, Harrow, Millfield, Wellington, and Radley to name but a few. This obviously makes for a very competitive season year-in, year-out but the Oratory boys will always rise to any challenge.
